About
Shahid Khan is an artist and educator working across glass, wood, metal, and digital fabrication. Born in Ahmedabad, India, and raised in Columbus, Ohio, he studied at The Ohio State University and spent a decade in journeyman training, collaborating with studios in the United States, Canada, Australia, Denmark, and Japan. His practice centers on craft, repair, and the politics of tools—objects that reveal their making and invite touch. Khan lives and works in Ohio, where he teaches woodshop and digital fabrication (using Fusion 360) at Denison University and serves as the department’s Visual Arts Technician.
